Every National Day, I do some sports, just like seagulls heading to the pier for fries🍟🐦. Last year, I completed my first triathlon, and this year, I can't fall behind:
October 1, 2024, commemorating my first half marathon (it's like celebrating the National Day with a half marathon ; )
Organizer: Myself >v<
Supply Provider: Direct drinking water tap at Dasha River + two servings of Pocari Sweat powder (salt pills, energy gels? As an amateur, they don't exist; just drink tap water🚰)
21.095km, pace of 7'39'', finished in 2h32'31''👟
(Missed the 2h30min mark by two and a half minutes, will do better next time)
Supply Strategy:
Hydration is purely by chance ( ), refilling water whenever I come across a direct drinking water tap (there are many downstream, but fewer as I run upstream💦)
One serving of Pocari Sweat at 10km, and the second at 15km (If I had salt pills or energy gels/even chocolate, the rhythm would be much better; towards the end, I really felt "out of strength")
Feeling the "exponential explosion" with my own feet (the difficulty 🔝🔝🔝, the more towards the end, the more torturous; consciousness dragging the feet, indeed, 10km and half marathon are not on the same level of difficulty)
Next, what kind of "fries" should I get ready for?
